Dark Emperor Vitarius felt the giant armored war pig beneath him shudder in rage.¬† For the sixth time in as many minutes the Emperor jabbed his large spurs into sides of … and now the rest of the tale

And the actual party invite

FOOD:

The Barony is providing meats, so please bring your favorite side dish for people to enjoy. List what you are bringing here, so that we don’t have 20 green bean casseroles. If you would like to bring something, but don’t know what to bring, ask! I will be happy to provide a list of options.

In addition, there will also be a dessert contest ( as soon as I can find judges, hint, hint). If you don’t want to be in the contest, but still want to bring a dessert, COOL! All of us like to eat. Much like the side dishes, please post what you are bringing. We all like apple pie, but we don’t need 30 of them

GIFT EXCHANGE:

Bring a wrapped gift if you would like to participate in the exchange. Label it “Lord”, “Lady”, “Undecided”, or “Child”. If the gift is inappropriate for children, please indicate that as well.

We are asking that purchased gifts costs be limited to around $15

HOLIDAY COOKIE EXCHANGE / CHARITY DONATION

  1. Each participant will bring 2 dozen cookies and 13 copies of the recipe.
  2. The first dozen will go towards the exchange.
  3. The cookies will be laid out on platters and each participant will get to choose 12 different cookies.
  4. Each person will also receive a copy of the recipe for each cookie they choose.
  5. Participants must bring some sort of container to hold the cookies they take home. Containers will not be provided.
  6. The second dozen cookies are to be packed in either a disposable plastic container or cookie tin with a lid. The container should be taped shut, with a copy of the recipe taped to the top.
  7. These cookies will be donated to the Memphis Union Mission.
  8. If you would like to donate cookies, but not participate in the exchange, that is fine. Just be sure to wrap your cookies according to step 6.

The Mission is also always looking for warm clothes donations in the winter. Socks, hats and gloves are especially requested items. I will place a box near the cookie exchange area for anyone who would like to make donations of this nature.

If you have any questions, just ask! Thank you for sharing with others!!
